In the spring of 2022, Suhail’s church planting coach asked him “What do you want people to experience; what are you inviting people to?” It was a wonderful, evocative question that both clarified desires for our church and spurred on the following short videos. The videos offer some response to that initial question: what we want people to experience and what we’re inviting people to.
No Bad Words in Prayer.
We want our church to give people lots of time, space, and freedom to bring their authentic selves and the whole range of their experience (emotions, doubts, questions, etc.) to God.
Silence is God’s Native Language.
We want our church to feature regular moments of silence – both as a reprieve from the pace and noise of ordinary life, and as a means of deepening awareness of God’s presence and love.
