Time and Location

We meet on Sundays (except rest days) from 10:30am to 12:15pm.

You can join us in person at the West End Resource Centre at 823 Ellice Avenue. There is free parking behind the building as well as parking on side streets. Feel free to dress however you like.

Kids and Childcare

Families and kids are welcome! We value being an intergenerational community and are seeking ways to both integrate and prioritize kids in our liturgy. The following are especially intentional efforts to deepen children’s spiritual formation and experience of God, and you can find out when we’re doing them in our schedule.

Children’s Time

A few times a month, our Children’s Facilitator leads children in a separate space for about an hour during the service. Children’s Time typically features:

• A fun icebreaker
• A brief time of silence (taking some breaths)
• Hearing a Bible story read aloud (usually from The Peace Table, which is a good, accessible contemplative Bible for children)
• Reflection/response/prayer and sharing time based on the Bible story

Godly Play

Occasionally, we have Godly Play services which are a contemplative, embodied way of engaging children’s spiritual formation and experience of God. Godly Play leans heavily on wondering, the imagination, and creativity, and we’ve found it’s a great complement to who we are and our approach to faith and prayer, etc. Everyone (adults, too) participates in the service; children aren’t separated from the adults.
