Summer Schedule

For the summer, we’re pausing our usual Sunday services and hosting midweek gatherings at homes and other spaces. Anyone is free to join!

Each gathering will be hospitable, participatory, contemplative and will include:

  • Shared supper (potluck or delivered) and conversation
  • Listening to scripture
  • Prayer
  • Communion
  • Occasionally: singing, homilies, or teaching

Anyone is free to join; in fact, we would love to have you visit and participate at any time!

Each gathering will be hospitable, participatory, and contemplative and includes:

  • Shared supper (pot-luck or delivered) and conversation
  • Listening to scripture
  • Prayer
  • Communion
  • Occasionally: singing, homilies, or teaching

Presence: A Contemplative Gathering

Presence is a contemplative gathering – held at the beautiful, peaceful chapel at St. Benedict’s Monastery – intended to nurture experience of the love of God. 

Our time together will feature silence, listening to scripture, a short teaching by Suhail Stephen, and quiet prayer. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided afterwards in the chapter room. 

If you are drawn to spiritual direction, contemplative prayer, or simply seek to deepen your experience of God with others who have a similar desire, we welcome you!
