Summer Schedule

For the summer, we’re pausing our usual Sunday services and hosting midweek gatherings at homes and other spaces. Anyone is free to join!

Each gathering will be hospitable, participatory, contemplative and will include:

Shared supper (potluck or delivered) and conversation
Listening to scripture
Prayer
Communion
Occasionally: singing, homilies, or teaching

New Role: Children’s Facilitator

We’re hiring!

We are looking for a warm, kind, and gentle person to lead children’s time during our Sunday service. We currently have three children (ages 1-8) and hope that a more established program will be inviting and hospitable for other families and their children.

New Easter Song: My Lord and My God

We are an Easter People and Ours is an Easter Faith!

Easter is one of the best times in the Church calendar. At its heart, of course, is the Resurrection of Jesus and his victory over the powers of Sin, Death, and the Enemy.

In our community here in Winnipeg, we liken the good news of Easter to the first goose in the spring sky: a sign that the season is changing, that something new has begun. In the same way, the Resurrection marks the beginning of new creation. Just as God raised Jesus, we too shall be raised, and one day all things will be made new and right.

“My Lord and My God,” our first ever release, was written in celebration of the Resurrection. It reflects some of Jesus’ beautiful, mysterious, and surprising Resurrection appearances—moments that are not just part of a historic story, but part of our present story and life as Christians living in the light of Easter.

This recording came to life through the creativity and care of people in our community, both in our worship gatherings and in the recording process.

We hope this song gives you space to listen, worship, and encounter the Risen Lord.
